In 2022 the Queen Elisabeth Competition will be dedicated to the cello for the second time

From 9 May to 4 June 2022, the best young cellists from around the world will come together in Brussels to compete for the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Prize.

The competition is open to cellists of all nationalities who are between the ages of 18 and 30. The competition will consist of three rounds, and the finalists will perform with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Queen Elisabeth Competition is one of the most prestigious music competitions in the world, and it is a great opportunity for young cellists to showcase their talent and compete for a major prize.
